Credo Restaurant

Credo Restaurant

Editorial / Freelance / 2012

“Credo” is a restaurant with subtle flavours, beautiful interiors and a soothing and relaxing ambience, situated close to Poznan’s Old Market Square, Poland. It’s maintained and managed by two young people who chose to devote their time and effort to make it more attractive and unique to customers.

The restaurant caters to a clientele looking for an informal, relaxed atmosphere. It is a place to enjoy a few glasses of wine, sophisticated dishes, and desserts while unwinding after a workday, before heading off to catch a show or simply for the pleasure of discovery.

While commissioned to create a new menu for the restaurant, I was asked to update their existing brand with a tasteful professional look and feel. I suggested making an art book rather than a common menu. The inspiration for the design came from a talk with Credo’s owners whose ambition was to take the restaurant to another level of quality and success.

The menu consists of 60 pages in 23 x 21 format. It’s divided into sections, e.g. soups, salads, starters, main courses, and desserts. Each spread represents a different dish category. All photos were shot by me.
