Poster Musique Baroque

Poster and flyer design for the concert “Musique Baroque” performed by the French vocal ensemble “Col Canto”. The work has been inspired by two of Bach’s motets “Jesu, meine Freude” (“Jesus is my joy Komm”), “Jesu, komm” (“Come, Jesus, come”).
The chorale texts are from the believer’s point of view and praise the gifts of Jesus Christ as well as longing for his comforting spirit. They speak of the passing from life to death and from death to a new eternal life. The concept can be seen on the poster as the opposition between light and dark. Silence opens its mouth in a “voiceless” scream for liberation.
